My name is Philip Mallon, I am the Associate Pastor of Westhoughton Evangelical Church in the borough of Bolton in Greater Manchester, UK.

I was converted in late 2007 – early 2008, coming under great conviction of sin and an overwhelming sense of the holiness of God and the righteousness of Christ as I read the Bible.

In the following year or so after my conversion, a very strong desire began to accelerate within my soul that I must not only grow and become more holy in my walk with Christ, but I must also make Him and His Gospel known. Through much prayer and a number of confirming indicators through the Lord’s people, the Lord eventually guided me in the direction of the London Reformed Baptist Seminary at the Metropolitan Tabernacle. From 2010-2014, there I would receive formal training in Pastoral and Theological Studies.

I came to Westhoughton Evangelical with my wife and children in September 2014, and joined membership in Mid 2015, serving alongside other faithful brethren in Sunday School and Open Air Evangelistic work.

Under the care and oversight of Rev. Stephen Holland, I have been afforded many opportunities to evaluate and pursue the calling to ministry over a period of 4 years. In accordance with the Lord’s blessing and guidance, along with the encouragement of the Church, I was ordained in January 2019.

This site has come about due to requests from the congregation at Westhoughton for the recordings of the ministry; for ease of access to such and to add another outlet of the Gospel to the host of Christian websites attempting to counteract the tide of confusion and evil that exists online today.
